Christ Church is a part of The Episcopal Church in The Diocese of West Missouri. We began as a small number of faithful followers in 1857 who gathered to worship, then grew to an organized congregation in 1868. A wooden structure was built in 1872 and later sold in 1892. Ground was broken for the current native limestone edifice in 1893, but the cornerstone was not laid until 1899.
We are located in the heart of Warrensburg in Johnson County, Missouri, home of the University of Central Missouri.
